About the Survey
The Solid Waste Authority of Broward County wants to learn more about how you handle garbage and recycling at home. Residents across Broward County are being asked to complete this survey; please take 10 to 15 minutes to fill it out. Your feedback will help the Authority make our recycling programs better and create a Solid Waste Management and Recycling Master Plan.
About Us
The Solid Waste Authority of Broward County is comprised of leaders from Broward County and 28 participating cities. The Authority is responsible for developing a 40-year Master Plan that will provide detailed operation and facility recommendations for a solid waste and recycling system that is transparent, innovative, and environmentally sustainable. Following approval by the County and a sufficient number of municipal members, the Authority will implement the plan, moving Broward County toward a sustainable, integrated solid waste management system that supports achieving Florida’s 75% recycling goal.
